Rachel, those are pictures of stamps that I found in Conde Nast Travel magazine. I cut them out and glued them to cardstock, and trimmed around the edges with scissors that cut an edge that looks like stamp edges. Then I glued them onto my house base, but I put a pop-up stickie behind each one so they would look like shingles.
